Asiamoney names UBS 'Best Equity-Linked Structured Product House' For the second year running, UBS has been named 'Best Equity-Linked Structured Product House' by Asiamoney magazine. UBS also ranked number one in various categories, including: 'Best Product Range'; 'Best at Structuring Products that Accurately Reflect Risk Reward Expectations'; 'Best Understanding of Client Constraints'; 'Best Pricing Capabilities for Structured Products'; 'Best Training and Educational Support for Structured Products'; and 'Best After-Sales Service for Structured Products'. Euromoney praises UBS for smooth transition from Costas to Jenkins The August issue of Euromoney magazine has hailed the Investment Bank for the exemplary fashion in which it conducted its recent management changes. In a lengthy article entitled 'How to succeed at succession', the magazine says that the appointment of Huw Jenkins to CEO was characterized by good humor, amicability and a strong sense of continuity. Of Jenkins, Euromoney says: "Those who know him respect him, praise his achievements, and also mention his affable, down-to-earth attitude, a rare quality in investment bank chiefs." "But," adds the magazine, "it is Jenkins's track record that counts, and it is impressive." That track record includes the Investment Bank's strong performance in
equities in recent years, says Euromoney: "No non-US firm has ever
managed to make much of an impression on the US equity market, whether
in trading or underwriting," notes the publication. "UBS, under
Jenkins's leadership, changed that."
